7 Zip is a file archiver with a high compression ratio. Compression ratio in the new 7z format is 30-50% better than ratio in ZIP format. 7-Zip works in Windows 98/ME/NT/2000/XP. I personally like to use Alzip. Alzip can read 70+ comprssions including their own. It can even open ISO, BINS, CAB, and many other system files. It is freeware and can be downloaded at No spyware or other junk either.
