Vista Tip : Disabling Thumbnail Preview In The Taskbar

Vista has the new feature shows thumbnail that appears on your screen when you move the mouse over a button on the Taskbar. The thumbnails will not moved until the mouse pointer is moved away from it, if you don't want this feature you can disable it.

  • Right click on the Taskbar and select the "Properties" context command. Once the "Taskbar" and "Start Menu Properties" dialog box appears, go to the "Taskbar" tab and disable the "Display Thumbnail Previews" option. Confirm by "OK", the change will effective immediately. If you want to activate it later, simply activate the option again.
