Canon Selphy CP-730 :

It is a stylish compact printer that delivers high quality prints on post card sized stationary. It has an impressive number of connectivity options to choose from. It can be used with a computer, but the best part is it does not necessarily need a computer to function.

Technical Features :

The CP730 leaves no room for doubt when deciding on a portable, reliable and affordable printer. You can use in traveling also with a battery pack. Besides the USB connectivity, it has Blue tooth, IrDA and Wi-Fi connectivity.

The color LCD screen along with the different buttons lets you choose different sizes of images as well. Create different modes and create multiple images and different sizes of images as well. Create different print sizes ( Upto 4x8 inch ) to suit your needs.

Performance :

At a modest 955 grams, it is convenient to carry. The print quality, color accuracy and picture details are good. The CP-730 uses dye-sublimation technology which means that every picture undergoes four cycles of printing. This water resistant layer also protects it from deteriorating in sunlight. Cropping and printing photos for Id cards and printing movie frames make this an exciting too.

Design :

It has a smart and compact design with a well placed LCD display and buttons. With regard to ease, even your five year old could use it. The paper feed tray is quite nifty little attachment which is very useful. This tray need to be attached while printing. A post card size print can turn out to be a little costlier.

Verdict :

For : Good quality prints, convenient and portable, easy-to-use, fast and reliable. Impressive connectivity options.

Against : It is specifically use for photos and not printing documents.
