The problem is mostly caused by a vibrating flyback transformer. In this case, you just need to set up your display settings again. The easy fix is to increase the refresh rate at which the monitor is operating. This might require you to lower the resolution.
- Go to Start > Control Panel > Display Settings and click the settings tab.
- Then click on the "Advanced" button. Under the 'Monitor' tab, select a refresh rate higher than 72 hz.
- Typically, refresh rates that are higher than 72 Hz give a better display experience and may reduce eye strain.
